PDP Chieftain Urges Osun Residents to Revamp the State for Improved Living Conditions

Omooba Dotun Babayemi, a key figure in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun State, has called upon the residents of Osun State to re-strategize for the betterment of the state. Addressing a large gathering at the launch of a cooperative forum named “ATUNTO OSUN” (Re-strategizing Osun) in Osogbo, Babayemi highlighted the government’s failure to fulfill the needs of the people, leading to the initiation of the scheme. The primary goal is to assist individuals in establishing small-scale businesses, thereby alleviating their hardships.

Babayemi, a former gubernatorial aspirant under the PDP, explained that the scheme would provide beneficiaries with access to counterpart funds provided by Omooba Babayemi for their business endeavors. Emphasizing that the platform was created due to governmental neglect, he underscored his commitment to the well-being of Osun State residents. However, he acknowledged the need for collaborative efforts among like-minded individuals to rescue the people of Osun from poverty.

The event witnessed the presence of leaders from various political parties, including the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Accord Party (AP), alongside a multitude of attendees.
