NNPP Demands Return of Vehicles From Defected Kano Chairmen

The Kano State chapter of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP) has directed its former local government chairmen who recently defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) to return vehicles allocated to them while serving under the party.

The demand was issued by the NNPP Kano State Publicity Secretary, Engr. Ibrahim Karaye, during a press briefing with journalists.

Karaye explained that the vehicles were provided strictly to support NNPP activities and enhance coordination across local government areas, not for personal ownership.

“The vehicles were donated to the NNPP as an organisation, not to individuals,” he said, describing the continued possession of the vehicles by the defected chairmen as a breach of trust.

He stressed that the former chairmen are expected to return the vehicles without delay, warning that the party would take legal action if the directive is ignored.
