Corporate Momentum Builds Around WITESA 2026 Lagos Edition

With corporate backing intensifying and participation numbers rising, WITESA 2026 is shaping up to be one of Africa’s largest gatherings dedicated to women in technology and engineering.

Set for June 23 and 24 in Lagos, the fifth Women in Technology and Engineering Summit and Awards will convene over 2,000 stakeholders. The summit, organised by Womenovate alongside Tech Revolution Africa, is hosting its first Lagos edition this year.

The platform operates on a clear premise: innovation ecosystems flourish when women are fully represented at technical, entrepreneurial and executive levels. WITESA 5.0 is structured to provide access, insight and recognition rather than symbolic engagement.

Over two days, more than 60 speakers will lead conversations across nine thematic tracks, addressing artificial intelligence, sustainable technology, infrastructure and scalable business models. The summit will also feature 50 startup pitches before investors and senior corporate decision-makers.

More than 60 women across Africa will be honoured at the awards gala scheduled for the evening of June 24.

MTN Nigeria’s decision to serve as Gold Sponsor reflects the commercial and strategic value corporations see in aligning with talent-focused platforms within the technology ecosystem.

Founder Motunrayo Opayinka emphasised that WITESA aims to institutionalise support systems that enable women to move from participation to leadership within the sector.

Tickets are priced across five tiers: Standard (₦10,000), Business (₦50,000), Executive (₦100,000), Premium (₦200,000), and Gala Table for four (₦1,000,000). Promotional offers are currently available for bundled purchases.

Organisers say higher-tier tickets offer structured investor access and curated networking opportunities, positioning the summit as both a professional development and strategic investment platform.
