In the wake of his recent Supreme Court victory, the Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, has announced plans to swear in his newly appointed Commissioners on Wednesday.
The commissioner-nominees were previously screened by the Osun State House of Assembly on July 7. The Governor’s letter containing the names of the nominees was read by the Speaker, Adewale Egbedun, during the plenary on the same day.
The list of commissioner-nominees includes Festus Adeyemo, Kolapo Alimi, Biyi Odunlade, Folashade Adeleke, Rev. Bunmi Jenyo, and Oladosu Babatunde, among others.
According to a statement from the governor’s spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, the swearing-in ceremony will take place at the Local Government Service Commission building in the Government Secretariat, Osogbo, at 10 am on Wednesday.
As Governor Adeleke prepares to inaugurate the newly appointed commissioners, the event marks a significant step in the state’s administration and governance. The occasion will witness the formal induction of competent individuals into key roles to contribute to the progress and development of Osun State.
