Veteran Nollywood actor Don Richard has dismissed viral reports claiming he has passed away, assuring fans that he is alive and in good health.
Reports had circulated on Thursday alleging that the actor died after a prolonged battle with kidney failure, sparking concern across social media platforms.
However, reacting via a post on his Instagram page on Friday, Don Richard described the reports as false and misleading. He thanked his supporters for their concern while criticising bloggers for spreading unverified information.
“There’s nothing wrong with me. I appreciate my fans for the love and concern. I’m alive, hale and hearty. I dey alive ooo. The bloggers should continue their bad posting, God will judge them, amen,” he wrote.
The actor had previously made headlines in July 2025 when he publicly sought financial assistance to manage his kidney condition. At the time, he revealed that he had sold his house and cars to fund his treatment.
His latest clarification has since brought relief to fans and colleagues in the entertainment industry, many of whom had expressed shock following the earlier reports.
Don Richard remains active on social media, using his platform to reassure supporters and address the misinformation surrounding his health.
