Aloemed Cosmetics is expanding its presence in Nigeria’s natural hair care sector with a range of aloe-based hair treatment products designed specifically for African hair textures.
The company’s product lineup includes Hair Growth Pomade, Strengthening Shampoo, Strengthening Conditioner, Moisturizing Conditioner, and Hair Collagen Oil. Each product is formulated to support healthy hair growth and address common hair issues such as breakage and dryness.
According to the brand, Aloemed was established to provide safer alternatives to chemical-based hair treatments commonly used across the African beauty market. The company noted that many consumers unknowingly damage their hair through frequent exposure to harsh ingredients.
All Aloemed products have received approval from the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC). The products are also verified by the Ghana Standards Authority and cleared by the Food and Drugs Authority in Ghana.
Research and development for the brand is overseen by Dr. Richard (PhD), who leads product testing and formulation. The company says its products undergo rigorous safety and quality assessments before entering the market.
Aloemed has grown from a small-scale operation into a recognized cosmetic manufacturer operating in both Nigeria and Ghana. The brand says it plans to expand distribution and strengthen partnerships with retailers across Nigeria.
