Seyi Oshewa-Oyedeji’s Leadership Training Programs at Restored By Grace (RGB) Ignite Personal and Professional Development

Restored by Grace (RGB), a Christian charity organization founded in 2017 by Mrs. SeyiOshewa-Oyedeji, is dedicated to providing solace and inspiration to those facing the challenges of widowhood, single parenthood, and separation. With a deep personal understanding of loss and the desire to assist others in similar situations, Mrs. SeyiOshewa-Oyedeji established RGB to support individuals aged 25-55 as they navigate different phases of life.

The core mission of Restored by Grace is to help widows, widowers, and single parents regain their confidence following the loss of a spouse due to death, separation, or divorce. By offering support and encouragement, RGB aims to empower these individuals to strive for stability and create a brighter future for their dependents.

“We envision Restored by Grace as the leading Christian charitable organization providing comprehensive support to young widows, widowers, and single parents,” stated Mrs. SeyiOshewa-Oyedeji. “Our ultimate goal is to see them reclaim their place as active members of the community, despite the hardships they have faced, and inspire others to do the same.”

RGB has implemented various initiatives to fulfill its mission, including the annual RGB Concert, theInspring young widows,widows and Single Parents (IYWWS) community outreach program, and the RGB Community Outreach project.

The RGB Annual Concert, held every year in Milton Keynes, U.K., offers a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere for people of all backgrounds and ages to come together and worship the Lord Jesus. Since its inception in 2017, the concert has attracted attendees from across the U.K. and abroad, providing an exciting platform for renowned Christian artists to minister through music and raise awareness about the challenges faced by widows, widowers, and single parents.

IYWWSis a community outreach program aimed at providing support and inspiration to individuals aged up to 55 during their most difficult times. By offering counseling, training workshops, financial guidance, and career advice, IYW2SP helps young widows, widowers, and single parents rebuild their lives, regain independence, and fulfill their true potential. RGB seeks to collaborate with other organizations, charities, and local authorities to amplify its impact within the community.

The RGB Community Outreach project is another crucial facet of the organization’s work. It offers free support services, including counseling, training workshops, financial advice, and career guidance to young widows, widowers, single parents, and their dependents. Through this initiative, RGB strives to foster a sense of community and mutual support among those facing similar challenges.

Expressing her gratitude, Mrs. SeyiOshewa-Oyedejisaid, “Years ago, as a young widow and mother, I believed my life had come to an end. Today, I am grateful to God for His love and my family’s support. It is this experience that fuels my passion to help other young parents who find themselves in similar situations.”

Restored by Grace (RGB) is open to collaborations and partnerships with organizations, authorities, and individuals who share the vision of empowering and supporting young parents and widows/widowers. She also has a yearly event for widows, widowers, and single parents. Where she and her team leverage the power of storytelling to inspire and empower people.“A free event held in a prestigious hotel to celebrate the great work done by widows, widowers, and Single parents. This is one of our signature events people look forward to and we have also done it in Ibadan and Ogbomoso and are coming to Lagos on the 7th of July 2023.”
