Supreme Court Section Ravaged by Fire, Swift Response Prevents Injuries

On Monday morning, a fire incident blazed through a section of the Supreme Court, resulting in damage to several offices, but fortunately, no injuries were reported.

Festus Akande, a spokesperson for the Court, attributed the fire to electrical issues originating from one of the Chambers of Justice. The incident was promptly addressed, with fire extinguishers effectively quelling the flames.

The alarm was raised by diligent cleaners and early-bird employees who detected the fire while on duty. They valiantly employed the available fire extinguishers to combat the blaze. Regrettably, the offices of Justice Mohammed Saulawa and two other colleagues bore the brunt of the fire’s impact.
