Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2023 election, has extended his congratulations to Bala Mohammed, the governor of Bauchi State, and Sim Fubara, the governor of Rivers State, on their appointments as chairman and vice chairman of the PDP Governors Forum.
The former Vice President, in a press statement on Tuesday, also commended the Bauchi State governor for the successful hosting of the PDP National Assembly members retreats.
According to the statement, the former vice president, who is currently on a short business trip overseas, remarked that “the PDP remains the most viable party to bring Nigeria out of the current socio-economic hardship.”
He called on all elected officials of the party to keep their focus on policy initiatives that will make life more pleasant and comfortable for the people.
