Dignitaries from Across Nigeria Pledge to Attend and Honor Late King Princewill’s Funeral

Alhaji Danu has reaffirmed his commitment to attend the funeral of the late King Princewill alongside the Emir of Dutse and his cabinet. He expressed his determination to offer support in any way possible to ensure that the King receives a dignified farewell. He fondly recalled the King’s visit to Dutse in 2017 and their numerous interactions.

The Ooni of Ife and the Obi of Onitsha have also pledged to honor the late King’s funeral as a symbol of solidarity and respect for their departed royal colleague. Both monarchs praised the King’s character as a true gentleman, highlighting his enduring legacies as both a lecturer and a ruler.

The passing of King Princewill deeply affected the Obi of Onitsha, who considered the King not only a friend but also a brother. They all offered their heartfelt prayers, asking God to grant strength and solace to King Princewill’s family, the Kalabari kingdom, and the people of Rivers State in coping with their loss.

The Amanyanabo of Twon Brass and the first governor of old Rivers State, King Alfred Diete-Spiff, expressed his profound sense of loss, noting that the late King will be sorely missed. The Ijaw King promised to attend the funeral with his full cabinet and emphasized that King Princewill’s legacies will forever serve as a testament to his remarkable life. He also expressed his intention to personally visit the Kingdom to offer condolences to the grieving family.
