Taiwo Oyedele, the recently appointed Chairman of the Presidential Committee on Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms, has officially resigned from PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC).

Prior to his appointment by President Bola Tinubu on July 7, Taiwo Oyedele served as a fiscal policy partner and Africa tax leader at PwC.

In a tweet, Oyedele announced his decision to step down from PwC after dedicating over two decades of service to the firm. He expressed his intention to avoid any potential conflict of interest and fully focus on his crucial national assignment as the Chair of the Presidential Fiscal Policy & Tax Reform Committee.
