Eccentric Services Ltd Intensifies Wealth Education Campaign, Urges Nigerians to Embrace Strategic Investment Culture

Eccentric Services Ltd has reaffirmed its commitment to promoting financial literacy and investment awareness by equipping Nigerians with practical knowledge on wealth creation through the capital market and regulated financial instruments.

The company said it is focused on helping individuals and businesses build sustainable wealth through informed investment decisions, strategic financial planning, and diversification of income sources amid prevailing economic challenges in the country.

Speaking during a media briefing, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the organisation, James Efe, explained that many Nigerians continue to face financial difficulties because they lack adequate understanding of how investments and wealth management work.

According to him, the current economic realities have made it increasingly important for citizens to look beyond salaries and conventional businesses as their only means of survival.

Efe stated that the vision behind Eccentric Services Ltd was inspired by his personal experiences while operating a poultry business alongside his consulting profession.

He revealed that inflation, increasing operational expenses, and declining purchasing power created serious difficulties for small business operators trying to remain profitable.

According to him, feed prices and production costs rose consistently, making it difficult for smaller businesses to compete effectively against larger companies with stronger financial structures.

The investment professional noted that although the poultry business generated revenue, operational expenses absorbed most of the earnings and left very little profit.

During the same period, however, his investments in treasury bills and equities continued to produce encouraging returns, leading him to study the financial market more seriously.

“That experience changed my perspective completely because I realised that strategic investing can provide more sustainable opportunities for wealth creation,” he said.

Efe, who has professional experience in both Nigerian and United States financial markets, disclosed that he is currently undergoing advanced training in Wealth Management at the New York Institute of Finance.

He explained that the company was established to simplify investment education and make financial knowledge more accessible to ordinary Nigerians seeking economic security.

The firm currently offers services including stock market education, swing trading in fundamentally strong equities, liquidity planning, brokerage account setup, dividend recovery, share recovery, and asset allocation strategies for individuals and businesses.

According to Efe, strategic asset allocation allows investors to manage risks more effectively while positioning themselves for sustainable financial growth.

He stressed that one of the biggest challenges facing the Nigerian financial ecosystem is poor financial literacy, which prevents many citizens from maximizing opportunities available within the regulated investment space.

The CEO also noted that many Nigerians remain skeptical about investment opportunities because of previous experiences with fraudulent schemes and unregulated financial platforms.

Despite this distrust, he maintained that regulated financial instruments such as equities, treasury bills, and other investment products remain credible channels for long-term wealth creation.

Efe further observed that many people still leave substantial amounts of money idle in savings accounts without realizing that inflation steadily reduces the purchasing power of those funds.

He advised Nigerians to become more intentional about financial planning by embracing disciplined saving and investment habits capable of providing stability during emergencies and economic downturns.

Since beginning operations in 2024, Eccentric Services Ltd disclosed that it has trained more than 1,000 investors across Nigeria and within the diaspora community on wealth management and investment planning.

The company also revealed that it currently manages a network of more than 500 active investors interested in long-term financial growth and economic security.

In addition, the firm stated that it has successfully facilitated over 50 dividend recovery and share recovery processes for clients seeking to reclaim dormant investments and unpaid dividends.

Efe emphasized that financial education remains one of the strongest tools for personal economic empowerment and national development.

He encouraged young professionals, entrepreneurs, and business owners to embrace investment opportunities capable of generating passive income and preserving wealth for future generations.

According to him, Nigerians must avoid repeating the mistakes of older generations who concentrated wealth in illiquid assets that were difficult to convert into cash during emergencies.

He maintained that building sustainable wealth requires patience, discipline, informed decision-making, and long-term planning.

The company reiterated its commitment to helping Nigerians understand the capital market, strengthen their financial knowledge, and achieve economic stability through strategic investment decisions.
