In a significant turn of events, there is growing pressure on Peter Obi to reconsider his presidential ambitions and instead run as the vice presidential candidate alongside former Vice President Atiku Abubakar in the upcoming 2027 elections.
Peter Obi, who contested as the presidential candidate for the Labour Party (LP) in the 2023 general elections, securing the third position according to the results announced by INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, is now being enticed to join forces with Atiku on a joint-ticket under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the 2027 presidential election.
