Lamidi Apapa, the factional Chairman of the Labour Party, experienced ridicule and jeering at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal in Abuja on Wednesday.
Following a dispute with party members over a seat in the courtroom, Apapa faced boos and mockery after the case was adjourned until Friday.
As previously reported by DAILY POST, Apapa clashed with the faction led by the suspended National Chairman of the party, Mr Julius Abure, during the court proceedings.
The court dismissed the claims of both factions contending for the party’s national leadership.
Upon leaving the courtroom, Apapa was escorted by policemen to shield him from the crowd.
As he struggled to reach his parked car, chants of “ole, ole” (thief) echoed, emphasizing the mockery directed towards him.
